Why is it that people say they love , but then end up hurting you

So my husband works a full time job right , me I’m a stay at home(which he agreed to) . Today while hubby was at work I went to go visit my aunt from Texas who came to California. Hubby came home at around 8pm and he asked what we did today , I told him and he got heated.. he started talking crap to me saying I brought my son to see my family without his permission, he then said I don’t pay rent at all so I have to do as he says.. I told him off and he just kept talking crap to me in front of my son who is in my arms ! He brought food home from jack in box right so he told me to eat and I handed him the bag of food and he grabbed it and threw the tacos over the babies head and threw the bag at my head and asked if I liked how that felt. I just looked up at him and didn’t say anything. I wanted to cry but didn’t because I’m stronger than that. Anyways he just continued to talk crap and say I don’t bring any money into the house etc . So I can’t just do what I want. He always wants to be there when I take baby out which he’s at work all day from 7am-9pm so how tf is that even possible.. I then went off on him and told him that he doesn’t control me or tell me what to do. I told him that he’s a mental idiot and that he has anger issues over stupid stuff.. he then said that he just hates my family and doesn’t want them spending time with my son.. I don’t understand why and he couldn’t explain the reason why to me either..I just don’t know what to do.. we have been married for 3 years and have a 6 month old son. Idk if it’s the weed thats making him crazy or idk wtf it could be... I am now in pain on my left side under my stomach from anxiety... I’m just.. idk I hate him rn
