IUDs or no?

Question

Alright ladies! I’ve been thinking about going on birth control! However, I do not want to be on pills because I am way to busy and will always forget, and I hear horrendous things about the shot and implant... I’ve been leading towards IUDs but I want second opinions... any help would be great!

I'm always wary of it because I've heard that it can cause uterine scarring which makes it difficult to get pregnant later, but there's a very slim chance of that happening. I'm just paranoid. It works great for a lot of people that I know.

I gotta start this my saying I gave birth to my son on July 5th and my dr did say that that fact means I would have a different IUD experience that women that haven't given birth. I got mine placed on the 13th and it was a piece of cake. I was terrified to get it done because I had read such horrible stories and the idea of it being placed in me scared me but I'm dead set on no more kids for atleast 5 years so this seemed like the most effective BC option for me. The worst part for me was sitting with the spectrum holding my vagina open. I didn't feel the clamps holding my cervix open or the actual insertion of the IUD. The whole insertion was about 5 mins and then I was on my way, except I did getting alittle dizzy and clammy after she was done but I just laid done for a couple mins and was  fine. I've had it in for almost 3 weeks and nothing crazy has happened. I started my period the same day of insertion and it was a tiny bit more crampy than normal. I've had sex twice with it and yes my bf could feel the strings and so could I but I plan on asking my dr to trim them down. I started spotting the last Friday but it stopped today. I actually like the IUD alot so far and I feel more confident in its BC ability.
