stay at home husband does nothing!

I've been back at work for about 2 months now, and my husband is staying at home with our now 15 month old. I get home and nothing gets done aruound the house, in fact it is worse. He blames it on LO saying she was being a brat so he couldn't clean, but this is almost every day. When I was on mat leave I had n the house spotless and more. I still have to come home from work and do all the chores and make dinner. I've talked to him and he says it's not only his mess so I should help. Any ideas guys?
