what are you dirty little mom secrets?

one of mine is that I like to put my son in his crib to have quite time (sometimes he sleeps) just so I can take a nap. he doesn't cry and is perfectly content so I just leave him there while I sleep for about an HR. 
at 38 weeks pregnant I deserve a little nap :p

My school aged kids go to bed at 7pm every night.  Not because I'm worried about them getting enough sleep,  but because by that time I'm done and ready to have quiet adult time.

I am currently locked in the bathroom while my son screams and pounds on the door. He’s been screaming for literally 2 hours now, and I just needed 2 minutes alone to take a dump, so I am 🤷‍♀️

I told my 2 year old there wasn't any milk this morning for his ceral so I could keep the last bit for a coffee 😂😂 he wasn't please with toast as you can imagine🙈

I use my kid as an excuse to not see people or talk to people.  I always say the baby has an appointment, I'm nursing, or the baby hasn't been sleeping well so I don't want to disturb her. I also sometimes wake up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and text my husband to tell him I'm just falling to sleep, if he could wake up and feed the baby a bottle of some stored milk, so I can sleep in. 😳🤤

I use nursing my son as an excuse to escape having to socialize at Sunday brunches at my in laws'. I just go lay on a bed in a back room and chill.

Haha, I do the same thing! He’ll wake up at 8am and I’ll give him a sippy cup and some toys so I can either sleep for another hour or check my phone and wake up slowly. He’s almost 13 months and he’s quite content and happy. That extra hour in the morning is my sanity! Then we go make a big breakfast together :)

My son will usually sleep throughout the night but he does still wake me up for feedings. He is six weeks old mind you. He always wakes up around 7-7:30 in the mornings. But I figured out the only way I could get him to sleep in a little bit longer is if he lays down on the bed next to me. So, while taking all the precautions of cosleeping, I lay him down in the bed so I can get an extra hour or two of sleep.
