Taking Charge

It’s been 7 years since my family had a baby in the family so in rolls my son at 18 days. They all want to hold him ( of course only a select few I actually let) but the downfall is he doesn’t sleep well at night because he thinks he suppose to be held while sleeping. So my husband and I agreed we are going to be strict that he has to be put down if sleeping.

Is it necessary we make it a rule or will he grow out this phase. He’s 2 1/2 weeks!
