My six week old is trying to sleep throughout the night?!

Idk if it's too good to be true or I should be worried. Addison is trying to sleep through the night.. I just woke her up myself to feed her to make sure she's getting food 😬 Weird thing is she's sleeping throughout the day too. If I wasn't so worried I'd be taking full advantage of it. I'm wondering if it's a growth spurt or something's wrong 😞😞😞 (also she has no fever)

If her weight gain is fine, let her sleep! My baby slept thru the night from 8w-14w and then started waking up to be fed twice again. Enjoy it before she hits her 4 no th sleep regression!!

Let her sleep! Consider yourself lucky! I've never woke up my children to feed them during the night! now I could see doin that if she was like a premie and the doc told me I had too. Otherwise no lol You catch up on your sleep too!

I agree with everyone else- let her sleep. My daughter went through a phase when she was a few months where she slept through the night but it didn’t last long.. enjoy it while it lasts lol

We had our daughter sleeping through the night 10-12 hours straight at 5 weeks old. She’s now 5 months and still sleeping just as well. Let her sleep! Waking her up will get her into the habit of waking up multiple times a night.

My baby went through the same thing at around the same age between 6 and 8 weeks where he'd sleep almost all the time. Literally just waking up to feed then goes back to sleep whether it was night or day time. I was very worried but he was gaining weight just fine and he grew out of it.

Thank y'all for replying lol. My child had a strict sleeping schedule (that she did on her own, I will feed on demand lol) and she has just never slept through the night let alone more than 4 hours. I hope this lasts. 😂

Totally normal! Let that baby sleep, and you! 6 weeks is just fine for a baby to sleep through the night and most of the day. Both kids have.
