breastfeeding+mini pill= period???

Question

So I got my first period 2 months pp. I am also on the mini pill. I haven't gotten my period yet. is it possible that I don't get my period every month?  I'm coming up on 3 months pp and would be my second period. is it normal to not get it, or may I need to test?

I’m exclusively breastfeeding and on the mini pill as well. 
I got my first period at 4 months postpartum. I got my second period 6 weeks later. 
I’m now 9 months postpartum and haven’t had a period in the last 4 months! 😳 
I keep taking pregnancy tests because I’m worried but it’s always negative. My doctor said it’s normal to be irregular postpartum and even MORE SO when breastfeeding and on the mini pill.

Normal. Periods can be out of wack for a long time after birth, plus breastfeeding can cause you to skip periods too. It’s also a potential side effect of the mini pill.

It's definitely possible. I'm not on the pill, but I am breastfeeding and I got one period at 3 months pp and haven't got a second even though I'm coming up on 11 months pp.
