Help! Stuck in early labor!

36+1 and have been having regular contractions 2-5minutes apart for 18+ hours now. Went to the hospital last night and the ob on call told me i was in early labor and only 1cm dilated and to come back when contractions are worse. Ive tried everything from sex, epo, nipple stimulation, walking, skipping, drinking tea etc and im not making any progress contraction wise. I have started to lose my mucus plug since coming home from the hospital. Can anyone tell me what i can do to help babe along? Thanks!
