Doctor visit - annoyed
So on the weekend I called the on call doctor. I've had spotting and discharge and even though everyone says it's normal it's persisted in varying degrees for the past 2-3 weeks. The doctor said to come in on Monday or Tuesday and they'll do a quick scan to make sure the bleeding isn't a hemorrhage or something else. Possibly I have a very sensitive cervix. The nurse called today to follow up and schedule my appointment and she said "you're six weeks there isn't much to see" come for a beta and we will determine if your hcg is high enough for ultra sound". I see DOZENS of women on here with plenty of scans before 8 weeks! I know there isn't much but possibly confirming no ectopic or other bleeding issue is helpful! Why is she being such a stickler? I have great insurance so if it helps with peace of mind why not just schedule it? My 8 weeks is November 17. Thoughts anyone? I don't feel like I'm over reacting.
