Is your baby’s growth ahead of schedule?

I went for an ultrasound sound last week (I was 29 weeks) and found out that our daughter’s head is 2 1/2 weeks ahead of schedule and her body is a week ahead. She’s 3lb 8oz. My husband was an 11lb baby and I was 8lb so this didn’t surprise us. Lol They have already mentioned the possibility of inducing if she keeps measuring big later. I can’t believe there is a possibility that we may hold our miracle a little sooner than expected! Either way, I’m overjoyed! Anyone else in the same boat?

They told me at 29'weeks that baby was measuring 31, no discussion of inducing early but I was wondering the same thing!

I’ve not been told I’m ahead. When they measure my bump I’m 1cm behind,  but at 32 weeks my baby is estimated to weigh 4lb 4oz 😐 which when I’ve still got 8 weeks left I think I’d quite big?

Yep - at 27 weeks he was measuring two weeks ahead, and at 29 he’s measuring one week ahead. Eep!

I was told as long as it's a healthy pregnancy, 20 weeks would be my last ultrasound. Luckily my husband and I got to go to a private 4d ultrasound over the weekend at 29 weeks!

My last ultrasound was at 20 weeks, almost 30 now and they still haven’t talked to me about getting another one. I’m wondering if they will do one to Check or just wait it there’s no complications? Makes me nervous!

At my 28 week appt a few weeks ago baby's head was 3 weeks ahead! Body was normal. Doc says it's genetic which makes sense bc my husband and other family members all have big heads 😂 hoping it won't be measuring as big at the next appt

I'm measuring 5 weeks ahead but no plans to change our homebirth with no interventions. My son was 2.5 weeks early so just assuming this babe will be a little early too!

I am. Our sons head is measuring two weeks ahead and the rest of him is measuring a week ahead also. I have geatational diabetes though so that's probably the cause of him being so big lol
