Did you have doubts about your pregnancy?

PLEASE HAVE AN OPEN MIND WHILE READING THIS.

I recently found out I was pregnant and it was a shock at first, but then I became excited. I started buying clothes, toys, etc. My SO wasn’t too happy about the situation but I figured he would get on board sooner or later. I told my SO that the deadline to have an abortion was coming up and asked him if he felt any differently. His feelings towards the matter haven’t changed. Yesterday I started thinking and I am scarred out of my mind. I am going to be a mom in her early twenties and I am afraid that the baby will take away my life. I know that you sacrifice your life when you have a baby, but I do not think I am ready. Is it normal to have these thoughts? Is it my hormones, is this a thing for young parents? I told my SO my feelings and he said that he has been feeling this way since he found out, but he is worried that when we are ready for a baby it won’t mean as much because it’s not our first. He is wanting to keep the baby out of obligation because he is also worried that we will regret it later. If anything, I will chose adoption before I chose abortion. But is this normal to feel this way? What helped this feelings go away?
