No baby on ultrasound
I had slight bleeding and cramps 4 days ago, had an internal and external ultrasound yesterday and there was no baby, just a gestation sac. I think I'm around 6 weeks. The nurse from the early pregnancy unit said it could be one of three things... 1. I'm not as far along as I think and it's too early to see baby. 2. It's a failing pregnancy. 3. It's an ectopic pregnancy. I've got another scan in a week. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? What was your outcome?
