feel like I'm on my period

I've been bleeding for like a week now and I'm five weeks pregnant. I just found out last week. I already been to urgent care twice and they tjink I'm having a miscarriage but they don't know for sure. They told me not to come back until my appointment or unless the cramping I'm having is really bad and I soak through a pad an hour. has anyone else felt like this before? am I overthinking it? I'm driving myself crazy because my appointment isn't for another week. Please help me!
