Hopeless

Im facing a theft charge for shoplifting, I don’t need the bad judgement I feel like shit already. I wasn’t convicted because it’s my first offense. I won’t steal another thing ever again. I just want to know what my future will look like now. I had to do 24 hours of community service then my public defender said she would get the judge to dismiss and expunge the charge. Im 20 this happened in june when i was 19. Anyone ever been thru the same or actually had a theft charge but still was able to make a living for themselves. I feel like i did the crime of the year. I’m really apologetic.
