Long distance

My boyfriend of almost 1 year and I started long distance in October. I started a job 3.5 hours away and he’s in college. Since being apart, i feel like our relationship has fizzled out. We have talked about this and reassure eachother that its the distance. But now, im going home to see him for two weeks and im kinda dreading it. Maybe i got used to being alone all the time? I just need reassurance that long distance does work.
