CD 1...FINALLY!

I know it might seem silly, but I started my period today and I am SO excited!

After TTC for 12 months with no success, I started tracking my bbt and taking OPKs for 3 months. I wasn’t ovulating. I went to my ob-gyn and was referred to the fertility specialist where I was diagnosed with PCOS.

After a trans-vaginal ultrasound, starting metformin, blood work, an HSG, and my husband submitting a sperm sample, I had to then wait for my next cycle to start to call back.

Well, today is Day 1!!! I go in on Tuesday for a baseline ultrasound, and to sit down with the doctor to determine a game plan for moving forward. I thought I was excited for my last cycle, so that I could start the ball rolling with blood work and an HSG, but waiting for this cycle was SO challenging. Starting today was pretty celebration worthy for me. In just a few days my husband and I will get the information we need to help us conceive baby #1! 🎉🎉🎉
