Can’t enjoy sex fully? Need tips!

So I’m extremely attracted to him, but when we have sex I’m so caught up in trying to impress & please him that I can’t fully enjoy or get into the moment! Does this happen to anyone else ? Any advice or tips ?

Listen to the Guilty Feminist podcast on Sexuality. They talk about how women under a certain age treat sex like a performance while women over a certain age are actually seeking real pleasure from sex. I think it has less to do with age and more to do with self-esteem, self-confidence, and just plain knowing yourself. If you know what gets you off, do those things or have your partner do those things during sex. It’s about your pleasure just as much as it’s about the other person’s pleasure. Focus on you. Advocate for what you need. The other person will do the same.
