Serious Question: Why do you like being the "other woman"?

I just can't wrap my brain around it,  so I would like those of you that are acting as the "other woman", please explain your logic.

I haven't been the other woman, but my friend liked to date married or taken men, for her it was she liked the newness of it, she said u know those feeling of butterflies and how when u first date someone u can't keep your hands off each other? she said that's what its like being the other woman, she wouldn't stay with one guy long and bounce through so many men..she said that is was a thrill and fun, I stopped being her friend though cuz I didn't like her lifestyle and she always wanted to talk about how these women are busy getting fat having babies and their men are out banging her and showering her with gifts and that disgusted me. I really don't understand why someone would want to be the other woman..

I am not one and would not be! However, I believe that is because they don't have to put up with all the problems that goes in a household. They may get gifts/money from the married man and they only spend a little time together. the time that they spend together would be having sex/good times(going out/trips) and the side girl don't really see the bad side of his personality plus they don't have a responsibility with him. They don't have to cook, wash his clothes, etc... OR it might be just that it's convenient for them to be together: the man gets sex and they may benefit financially.

k I was the other woman but I didn't know bc he lied so well. it was awful bc I always had a feeling I was and I hated it. I'm glad I walked away from all that drama. I didn't choose to be the other woman but found out the truth I was. key word was lol
