Is it safe to say I love him???

I have been dating my boyfriend for about a month and a half and we have spent every day after school together at rehearsal (we both volunteer for the middle school musical) and he is always there for me whenever I need him. We have been friends before we started dating. He says he does love me but I’m not sure if it’s safe for me to say I love him too. Keep in mind I’m a 16 yo sophomore and he is a 14 almost 15 yo freshman and we’re both in high school. Please help. Need advice.
