just engaged family drama

I just got engaged yesterday and what was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life turned sour. my sister lives far from me and hasn't had the chance to meet my fiance, I've assured her he's a great guy and my whole family loves him. we've been dating almost a year and I can't help she hasn't been home since then. I called her to tell her she was very short with me and didn't seem happy at all she said she was annoyed he didn't wait for her to meet him. so I hang up and she tells me she's not coming for Christmas now and this morning she blocked me off fb. I'm so torn and sad and now all I can associate my engagement with is her terrible behavior. I'm so sad and I don't know what to do any advice 😔😔😭 she always been so controlling of me
