Heart not over a TERRIBLE person

So I was with this guy and he was awful but I feel in love with him and now I can’t get over him and I was dating this guy and he was amazing and forgot all about him then he left and now he’s back but every time I leave a guy I think about this AWFUL guy that is TERRIBLE and I think my heart still loves him and I need to move on ideas? I think it will go away after hanging out with this new guy. But I also didn’t get any closure with this old guy and he did TERRIBLE things and I had to get the police involved but this guy is super good at manipulating and shit and I’m upset cause I don’t think he’s ever going to get caught. But he deserves to get put in jail.
