I’m self conscious

What would your man do if he noticed you were self conscious? Mine got furious after I made a lighthearted comment about him texting a female friend a lot today, he then said it makes him sick to look at me, he’s reached his breaking point, and that I’m repulsive to him now, and if i keep feeling this way then he is going to do and say everything that I’m self conscious about. He then told me he hopes what he said hurt. It did, but I didn’t let it show because we were in a restaurant.
