We will be soon. We have a beautiful christening gown that all my nieces have worn so I want to be sure to get her baptized before she outgrows it! We haven't yet since my husband works nights so after morning mass isn't a great option and getting a weekend day off this month would have been impossible because they were short staffed. 😬😬 fingers are crossed for a better schedule for Dec/Jan

My husband was baptised when he was really young and we got baptised together right before we got married as well. He feels like the first time didn't count because he was so young and didn't get to understand it. So I'm not sure when we'll discuss baptism but it'll be in the elementary school age range when our son can understand the meaning of it and how important and special it is.

we did 2 weeks ago. people say wait til they can choose but if they r my values y not pass them on to my children. we're Lutheran, the 2 sacraments we believe in r baptism and communion. I'm not gna hold off on teaching my children other things til they decide that's how they wanna b so y would I with such an important part of our lives.
