Daddy Issues

okay, so this weekend i went out with a guy who is much older than me. we went to a hotel and he mentioned the looks people were giving us and he said it might look like i have daddy issues. but i had and still have a wonderful relationship with my father. so i guess i’m just wondering what it really means to have daddy issues... i’m starting to feel paranoid about it. is it possible that i have daddy issues? my mom had full custody of me and even though mom let us see him whenever we wanted, it wasn’t very often. but my dad loved us and he always told us and showed us. i’m not sure what to think.
