Texting family to tell them I’m pregnant?

So, I don’t see my uncle or my dad very often. My idea to tell them I’m pregnant is to send them a picture of the ultrasound and say “guess what? Youre gunna be a great uncle!” (or grandpa for my dad). My family is really small so this is my only uncle, we literally have like 5 people in my family 😂. My mom thinks that this is an impersonal way to announce my pregnancy to them, but I don’t see them often and I want to just tell them already as I am 13 weeks pregnant. My grandma really wants to post about it on her Facebook already but can’t until I tell my dad and Uncle 😂. Please help!!
