wine help!!

my husband and I got a cheese and meat plate last night and plan on having a stay at home date night tonight but we don't have wine. we are just starting to drink wine and really don't know much about it. I know I like Moscato (and similar)but he's never tried it and hasn't tasted enough to have one he likes. my question is will Moscato go with the plate? and what are some suggestions if not or if so? and also we're cheap so nothing really over 10-15 dollars THANX!!!!!!!!
