Am i wrong to be upset

so for my boyfriend and his twin brothers birthday, his twins girlfriend (Ashley) and I planned an out of state trip for the four of us. we just told them yesterday and we're all excited about it. I don't live with my boyfriend and I don't really get to stay the night with him often so i was really excited to just spend those couple of nights with him. my boyfriends best friend, Jason messaged me on snapchat (after i posted our trip on my story) saying that it was messed up that we didn't tell him about the trip. It never came to mind to tell him about it, but then he said he was joking. Then Ashley texted me saying Jason made her feel bad cause he told her the same thing about not telling him and that she could tell he was upset about it even if he was trying to hide it. so now she wants to invite him and our other friend.

it would make our place we're staying a little cheaper but I'm just upset because i wanted it to be an intimate trip. Also they are my boyfriends friends. don't get me wrong I do like them but I don't know. Should i just suck it up or would you be upset too?
