Who should pay for bridesmaids dresses

So basically my best friend is getting married and wants us to pay for our own dresses. I got married a few years ago and I paid for all my bridesmaids dresses, hair and makeup, hotel and gave them a gift. I'm a sahm and have no spare income to spend over $100 on a dress
