8 week appointment

Hi all, I am pregnant with my fourth baby and going in for my 8 week appointment soon. I know that they will want to do the initial internal check/pap and I really just do not see the need. My youngest is 18 months old and I had it done when I was pregnant with him, but I'm thinking I will decline this time. Is there really any benefit/reason to do it? All I can think of are the negatives.

I've already told them I will not be having an 8 week ultrasound.
