At what age did your child take showers instead of baths?

The reason I ask is because my step daughter lives 11 hours away. We only see her on holidays, spring break and summer. She is 5 and said she takes showers now. My husband and I just feel like that’s kind of young.. are we wrong? It doesn’t matter regardless, just curiosity killing the cat. 😂

I remember my mom tried to start having me take showers when I was around 5. I remember absolutely hating it. I took bathes until I was around 8.

My daughter is 6 and if she wants to shower she has to have me with her. It’s easier sometimes if we want a quick clean like after swimming. Usually she will do a bath so she can play

I was probably around 7 or 8, but I don't think it's really an age thing. My brother has always preferred baths and he's 16.

My daughter started with showers around 4. She’s almost 18 now and i seriously dontthink she’s taken a bath since then. She thinks they’re gross.

I was like 9 when I started showering, my boyfriend was like 4, so idt it really matters off she says she's comfortable with it let her just let her know you're willing to help if she needs it

I don’t have kids but yeah I didn’t take showers until middle school maybe? And my nephew is 6 and he takes baths. So yeah that’s young!
