Let baby fall asleep while feeding?

Question

Someone told me not to let my baby girl fall asleep while BF and that I should take her off my breast when she’s drowsy and put her in her bed. She’ll be 4 weeks on Tuesday.

Its a sort of sleep training, but honestly shes so little it’s not going to effect her.

Idk. I've heard this but I say whatever helps you and baby to sleep. sleep is how you stay sane in these first months and you being sane helps you be a better mommy. do what you feel is best. your not going to hurt your baby either way. my baby is 3 months and she nurses to sleep. Sometimes she doesn't, and I don't think she NEEDS to nurse to sleep.

I would for sure try and take her off breast while drowsy and try to lay her down. she's too little to "sleep train" but it doesn't hurt to start establishing some routine if that makes sense!
