Cervix question

Can someone please explain to be how the cervix should be after ovulation but before your period starts? I’m three days late and every test is negative. My boobs are a little sore and they look a little bigger. I can’t sleep for shit at night and I’m exhausted throughout the day. The last couple days I’ve showered I’ve felt for my cervix. And I just can’t seem to reach it. Idk if that’s a good thing or what. Some insight would be nice! Thanks!
