Medela or Spectra?

Question

Please explain your experiences with one or both of the two pumps. I’ve narrowed it down to these two and am curious to see what everyone else thinks.

I had the Medela pump in style one with my daughter. It ALWAYS had this odd sweet smell to it which I couldn’t get to go away. I also hated the bag. I had no no need for it since I didn’t need to take it anywhere and it was more annoying than anything.
The lady I nannied for had the Spectra and it was way more compact and I believe had timers you could set. In my opinion the Spectra was much nicer.

I had the spectra 2 and loved it, it was quiet and had a nightlight. Easy to put together and clean
