Delivery room dilemma
So, I'm only 26 weeks but I figure it's never too early to start planning on whose going to be in the delivery room.
From the beginning, I was iffy about having the father in the room with me because he insisted on watching and I knew I would be uncomfortable if he did. We've since broken up, and I'd feel more comfortable if he wasn't there, and just came to cut the cord if that's possible.
I know my mother will be there, she's been my biggest supporter since I've gotten pregnant, and she knows how to effectively keep me calm. I just don't know how to break that to him, that he's not going to be there until she's actually out and he can cut the cord.
Edit:
What makes me uncomfortable is that it's my vagina and I've seen childbirth. I'd rather no one else see me like that, at all. If he can stay up by the head, he's welcome. But if not, I'd rather not be uncomfortable while trying to give birth. The only people that should be down there are the doctors and nurses. No one else.
