Pregnancy sign?

I was supposed to start my period today. I am usually spot on with my period. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. But all throughout the day I have been having pregnancy symptoms (nausea, fatigue, sore breasts) and now I am getting wet CM (which I never get before period). I went to the doctors last week for an US(nonrelated) and they said it showed I ovulated. So did I ovulate later than usual? so could my pregnancy test be wrong if I ovulated later? I didn't get a BFP until 5 weeks with my son.
