So I'm 15 and I've been working in a fast food chain for about 9 months. Where I live it is constantly above 30 degrees C and since it was a fish and chip shop it is unbearably hot in there because of all the deep fryers. The hours were long even during the school week (4.5 hours on a school night is actually illegal in Australia). My boss was nice when not at work but she was so passive aggressive on shift. I was either bored stupid or stressed to the point of melt down as it goes from dead to bursting in like 2 minutes at dinner time. It's nuts and I hated it but I'm so happy!!!! I quit on my own and I was so nervous 😂
