I’m a bit stressed about this. I have a boyfriend and we’ve been together for just under a month and well my mum doesn’t know and I have no idea to tell her. I’m in uni and she lives a while away we also don’t have a relationship never talked about boyfriends etc before. My boyfriend also is long distance (we met on tinder but don’t think she needs to know that!) I’m 18 nearly 19 and he’s 19 so this really shouldn’t be such a big deal but I’m having such major stresses over it, as he wants me to come down over my birthday but it’s also when I’m home. I don’t want to let him down but I also don’t want to upset my mum about going over his but right now the major problem is of telling her, do I text her? Make our relationship Facebook official and hope she sees it or call her...even though on multiple occasions I’ve tried and just can’t get the words (that’s the problem really)

So I’m looking for advice on how to tell her! I won’t be seeing her until another few weeks and my boyfriend wants to know if I can come down or not.

I apologise for coming across as very childish and I know this probably shouldn’t be as stressful as it is, so thank you to everyone who gives me advice.
