Help? Missed misscarriage?

We did our first IVF/ICSI this year and it was successful. This is my first pregnancy and Today I'm 7 weeks 5 days pregnant. I had a scan last Monday and the embryo measured .33cm but we saw a strong heartbeat. Because it was on the small side we had a second scan today but only measured 0.55cm and the heartbeat was very slow. The drs told me the chance of misscarriage is 99% and to prepare for a loss. Even spoke me through the options of a d&c; etc. 😭💔 I don't want to give up but it's so hard when a medical professional of the standard of my dr tells me to basically call it a day. She nearly stopped my meds. I have a scan on Thursday. To 'confirm the missed misscarraige' I am broken and wondering if anyone had any positive outcomes from a similar experience.
