Circle lenses?

Hi everyone, i came across a few girls on youtube wearing circle lenses

​(fashion colour contacts with a larger diameter to make your eyes appear larger and more doll like)
​
​ i think they are really cute but ive heard that there possibly dangerous, but ive not heard of anyone having problems with them are they just as dangerous as normal contacts?

​If anyone knows anything about these let me know because i was thinking of purchasing a pair!

I work for an eye doctor in the US. I haven't heard of the particular lenses here. We do fit colored contacts though. They tend to be very uncomfortable and don't pass as much oxygen to the eye as regular contacts do. If you decide to get some be sure you see an eye doctor to fit them so they can make sure all the measurements are correct or it could cause problems.
