Birth question!

My doctors nurse is who I seen my last visit. She said being almost 2 dilated, 70% thinned out, and being able to feel her head RIGHT there I'm the perfect candidate for an induction. My doctor has already mentioned induction a week early if he finds it necessary since this is my second child. I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow, and my next appointment is Tues. So I'll be 38.4 at my next visit. My husband is ready, like if I could be induced today he would be there with that big #1 fan foam finger rooting things along. Well, my sister told me that if I get induced just because the Dr let's me, if she/my body isn't ready.. it could result in a c-section. And that scares me. Did anyone else get induced a week early and ended up with a c section? I have had no issues during this pregnancy. At all. It's just about time to decide on a date, if she won't come and I overthink I everything, so IDK what to do. IDK if I even want to go early. I'm still debating and like I said, over thinking everything.
