When did your kids get their first haircut?

My daughter will be a year old in about a week and she had so much hair. I was thinking we could probably get it done soon. Just a little trim. I’m just wondering when people generally get it done. I’m sure there will be a wide range of answers since some kids have a ton of hair and others have none!

Bonus question: did you save a lock of hair? We’re going to. There’s a little envelope in her baby book to keep a lock of hair from her first hair cut.
