Vaginal dryness

Not sure if this is a common thing but all of a sudden I am suffering from vaginal dryness. I’m mid 30s healthy and never ever had an issue with dryness or libido but recently I have had problems with both and sex can be pretty painful and I sting during / after sex. Not sure if this has something to do with my cycle, as I’m just over a week away from my period. At first it didn’t bother me but it is and I’m starting to think it’s affecting my sex life. All sorts are going through my head something is up, even early menopause 😂
