No fetal pole

I had a vaginal ultrasound and was told the sack is there but to baby...got my HCG level back and I'm at 2,5xx I'm scheduled for another appointment next week and the doctor asked if I had any bleeding I said no. and said if there can't see anything next time I might've miscarried...anyways question is has anyone had this experience where it was to early and you didn't see anything?

when I was pregnant with my son I found out when I was three weeks along and he was there like bam you could see there was definitely a baby there and with this one it's just weird. you see the thing is we didn't plan this baby and I have even considered the alternative but now that the doc couldn't see the baby I got a little sad ... I've Alway's wanted a big family I have two children but the situation is a bit though since I don't work.. we are just fine right now and another baby would be a little heavier weight for me mostly but I wouldn't mind having another baby I' happy, I guess I just have mixed emotions
