Am I the only one?

My 2 year old daughter is non stop moving around, she never sits and all she wants to do is run from me in public. Also, she says words but not making sentences.. I’m putting her in speech therapy in January when our insurance changes but I just feel like a shit mom.. she’s so freakin energetic, a busy body and I see other kids around her age that stands by their parents right sits when it’s time to sit 😭 any tips would be great.

I don’t really have much advice, but no need to feel like a bad mom! She’s just an energetic kid. Nothing wrong with that. Is she in any activities to put that energy towards? Maybe a dance class or a swimming class? On a day to day basis, you can just try telling her that she needs to sit and stay by mom in public. I’m sure you already do lol but tell her if she’s good and holds your hand all throughout the store then she can get a treat? Don’t do that every time so she doesn’t expect one, but every now and again to show her that’s a good thing to do.
