Can a 9 month old have a night terror?

My son just woke up and started screaming like I’ve never heard from him. He was literally screaming at the top of his lungs for a good 5 minutes until I made him a bottle and was able to rock him back to sleep. He barely drank 2 oz of the bottle and was just sniffling himself to sleep 😪 I almost took him to the hospital, I was in tears it broke my heart. He had all the symptoms but I’m not sure if 9 months is to early or not? When I think about it he’s been waking up very suddenly like that while letting out a cry but never screaming that loud.
