Who is responsible for Kate Steinly’s death?

A jury has found that the man who fired the bullet that killed Kate Steinly is not guilty of murder or manslaughter, and only guilty of possession of a firearm while being a felon. It was a shocking verdict to say the least.

While many may disagree with the verdict, it is the result of our court system that he, the individual, is not responsible for her death.
