sex during non high risk of pregnancy

new to not using any birth control, was on it for ten years and decided I'm done with it for emotional and physical reasons. condoms give me yeast infections so we are using he pull out method. it's worked for 4 months now no babies yet. we are planning on getting pregnant at the end of the year. was wondering if it's okay for him to ya know in me when I'm not ovulating?
