Problems with the in laws

Most of the men in my husbands family are those type that think that they control women. My husband has never been that way with me but every time we leave early from a party they start texting him telling him not to let anyone control him and things like that. The 2 that I have proof of is his 17 year old alcoholic brother and his sisters husband. We have a 1 year old and I'm pregnant with baby #2 and I'm just not taking anyones crap at this point and I'm tired of drama as well. I saw his brothers texts from tonight and he tells my husband not to let himself, like what?! Your 17 and you've been drinking every Friday-Sunday since I met you at 12 years old, been to jail once, who the hell says it's ok for you to give MARRIAGE advice to anyone?! I finally decided to text him myself and tell him they need to stop telling my husband that stuff becuase absolutely no one is treating him bad and that its time to respect our marriage and my family and that I will be going tomorrow to talk to my in laws about this. I just don't understand why his family wants him to be that way with me. It's heart breaking really and I'm sick and tired of it I have no idea what to do anymore
