Catching up on sleep
Can any working mamas relate?
I get 3-5 hours of sleep a night throughout the week, and then on the weekends the exhaustion takes over and I can hardly do anything except sleep. I’m sure my body needs it, but I just end up feeling shittier and lethargic and I can’t get any housework done or spend much quality time with baby or hubby 😔
Today I “slept in,” took 2 naps and slept a 6 hour stretch (slept through a feeding/pumping sesh). The only productive things I did today were pull laundry out of the dryer and sanitize pump and bottle parts. I feel so useless. Should I just be thankful that I can get some sleep? How do you all spend your weekends?
