Deployed and he is happy 🤔

I have a LDR starting one year ago. Honestly thought the relationship won’t move to simple friendship. He is military and stationed in FL so we see each other every month. He told me he will be deployed to Middle East within a month but I don’t see him interested to see each other before deployment. He actually received the news so happy. I just think is the beginning of the end. Am I overthinking ?
